Taking Betta photo

Lighting is very important for taking pictures of fish. as using a flash does not always give a true color of the fish. Use a long life daylight globe and depending on the shutter speed of your camera you might need one on top and on the side of your tank. With good lighting the shutter speed is faster and use of lower ISO setting (I use ISO200) to reduce noise. As Betta is very active, you will tired of chasing fish around a tank so made a tank for taking pictures. The glass was cut at a local glass cutter and stuck them together with silicone sealer. Measure the distance of the camera took best pictures at and made the big compartment just the right length so the camera sits right up against the front glass. This will reduce reflaction on the photo. If your camera have manual focusing this tank is more useful. One important feature you have to have on your camera for taking pictures of fish is a MACRO feature. Good luck.
